These sessions are completely tailor made to suit whatever you want to make and will treasure forever ヽ(^。^)ノ In this half day workshop, you will learn how to design and create your own piece of jewellery, whether a ring, pendant or nipple twisters, it's completely up to you. You will start with creating and carving your design in wax, we will sandcast it together. Then, you’ll clean and finish your piece so it's ready to wear! This workshop is aimed at anyone and everybody who has the curiosity and desire to make shiny little things. You’ll learn some of the things that I do and love, as well as hopefully finding new skills and outlets that will certainly provide a therapeutic time and space for you to get crafty. Previous experience isn't necessary, this will be totally suitable for beginners. In a Nutshell; I will provide all tools, equipment and materials (including jewellers wax and 30 grams of sterling silver) —on that note: I will love for you to work with the metal that truly calls out to you, so if silver isn’t it, we can make other arrangements just for you or you can bring your own metal to melt down and cast into a new piece. I’ll leave you with this fun fact about sandcasting… With this method you can cast almost any hard object including shells, sticks, acorns, seeds, existing pieces of jewellery, nuts, keys and other metal objects, teeth, bone, gum nuts and so much more.
